Information Technology (IT) conglomerate WeBuff Solutions in partnership with MSQ Events officially announced on March 2019 the Academe Portal School Expo (APSE), the first of its kind in the Philippines.
The two-leg fair focuses on promoting top-grade schools in the metro that experienced the transition of K-12 Program that was implemented by the Department of Education in the Philippines. Due to these changes in the academic scene, the tertiary level was also affected, thus having them
adjust as well to the new curriculum.
WeBuff Solutions CEO and President Rudolf Igor Peralta said that they invited schools who were performing the best in terms of transitioning to the newly furnished basic educational platform.
“We believe that the best people to expound on the current educational status of our country remain in the hands of the people who are part of it,” Peralta said.
WeBuff Solutions’ main agenda for this event is to inform parents regarding the integration in the educational platform of the country, and how the courses shifted from traditional to modern type in terms of teaching the students.
In line with these integrations, WeBuff Solutions has adjusted to the new educational setting and have transpired new programs to cater to the needs of students, parents, and educators, based on the new curriculum. One of their top-of-the-line flagship programs is the Academe Portal which centralizes school systems such as online enrollment, Registar system, and Accounting system.
The event will also feature several highly esteemed people in the field of education to talk about various topics that they have encountered during the transition to the new educational curriculum.
APSE will have two legs— one in the north of Manila and one in the southern part of the metro. The North leg will be in Ayala Malls Vertis North slated on May 18 to 19 and the South leg will be in Evia Lifestyle Center on May 25 to 26.
